- George died on 14 Feb 1895, in Corwith, MI and is buried in Vanderbilt with his wife and a few of his children. Only George has a tombstone. I was there in 2022 and cleared the brush around te stone and cleaned the stone as well. The stone is tilted back and is very weathered and the text is staring to fade because of this.
